Based on medical facts, female's brain matures at the age of 21-22 and male's brain mature at the age of 30, but usually you're considered an adult in society when you reach late adolescence, which is around 21-23. You're also considered adult when you're married in my country.
Mentally though, is when you stop being idealistic and retarded, able to live alone without your parent's money, and you are trusted enough to obtain a fixed job (not a part-tme job)
