You mean "destrudo"?

Yeah, I looked that up. Destrudo/Thanatos (although it's not Freud's name) is the death drive and libido/Eros is the life drive. That's interesting, how the Psychoanalysis' names are based on Greek mythology... Think Oedipus/Electra complexes...

*Beeep* Post-Freudian doesn't mean it was Freud Very Happy

it means that people who came after him used the bases of his ideas to come up with that theory. The origins root in Freud's studies, but he didn't come up with that sociological concept.

On an interesting note, did you know that he came up with the Penis Envy theory? He claimed that women were never happy because they didn't have penises, pretty much. Lawl.
